Crossovers are all about room, utility, comfort and performance. The all-new 2014 Santa Fe does not fall short with that promise. With a high-quality interior and a combination of cutting-edge technologies, this vehicle offers two very different models that are both perfect for travelling. Following a similar design as last year, the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport comes in a two-row and the Hyundai Santa Fe XL comes in a longer three-row seating configuration, replacing the Veracruz. Read below for 5 reasons why you will love the all-new 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe.

1. Safety and Security

The 2014 Santa Fe comes back with added convenience and security features such as the Blind Spot Detection system (BSD) and the rear parking assistance system. BSD is a standard option on all Premium Packages while the rear parking assistance system is only offered on the Technology Package. Not to mention, as a part of Hyundai’s new assurance commitment, there is also an advanced standard safety technology incorporated within all models. This includes a standard Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system and the Motor-Driven electric Power Steering (MDPS). In addition to the new safety features, in a government crash testing, the 2014 Santa Fe earned a top five-star rating for overall crash protection with 7 air bags. What is more important than safety on a vehicle? We can’t think of anything.

2. Fuel Economy and Engine

The engine of both the Santa Fe Sport and the Santa Fe XL features a direct-injection technology and a six-speed automatic transmission for better fuel economy and power. The two-row Santa Fe Sport is offered with a 2.4L four-cylinder engine generating 190 horsepower and a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder generating 264 horsepower. The Santa Fe XL is powered by a 3.3L V-6 engine generating 290 horsepower.

3. Spacious Interior and Design

The design and spacious interior are thoughtfully engineered to add convenience and comfort to all passengers for an easy handle of daily errands and family life. The three-row Santa Fe XL features seat-back pockets and under-floor cargo storages that expand to accommodate up to 2,265 litres. Ultimately, this maximizes the functionality of the vehicle without comprising any comfort and design. With the convenient 40/20/40 split of the interior seats, there is even more room to fit longer and bigger objects while maintaining a four–seat position.

4. Extraordinary Value

At a price range of $26,599 (Base trim) to $38,899 (Limited trim), the 2014 Santa Fe Sport offers excellent value unmatched by competitors in the crossover market. Similarly, this also applies to the $30,999 (Base trim) to $43,399 (Limited trim) price range of the 2014 Santa Fe XL. Both base trims offer great features such as power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt/telescoping steering, steeringwheel audio, phone controls, keyless entry, alarm system, heated front seats, and 17inch wheels.

5. Car-like Driving with CUV Performances

Almost like a trademark feature, the 2014 Santa Fe provides the driver with all the benefits of a large Crossover without it feeling like one. It drives smoothly like a sedan with its flexible handling and fast acceleration. Both the Santa Fe Sport and the Santa Fe XL find ways to meet expectations. It is a true standout when you want space, style and power.
